Plain and honest: here's what happens to your information when you apply to
Off-Season or sign up for updates. If anything is unclear, just email me.
1. Who is responsible
This project is run by Vincenzo Lambiase, a private individual on the
Amalfi Coast, Italy. I am the data controller. You can reach me at
lambiase.vince@gmail.com.
2. What I collect
When you apply: your name, email, your confirmation that you're 18 or
older, where you're from, your social handles, a link to your video, your message, and your
phone number if you choose to add it.
If you opt in: your email, to send you occasional updates.
Technical basics (like your IP address) that the hosting and font
providers below handle to deliver the page.
3. Why, and the legal basis
To read and consider your application and to get back to you about it. Legal basis:
your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
To send updates, only if you ticked that box. Legal basis: your consent. You can
withdraw it any time.
I will only feature your submission (your video or words) in public content if you gave
the separate "featuring" consent, and I'll still check with you first.
4. Who else is involved
I keep this small. Your application and your message go straight into a database on a server
I run and control myself (hosted with OVH, in Europe). The only outside parties are:
Google (Gmail) sends me a notification of your application and is where I
reply to you from, so your name, email and message also reach my inbox there.
Google Fonts and Fontshare serve the page fonts and may
receive your IP address to do so.
I do not sell your data and I do not share it with anyone beyond what's needed above.
5. Where your data goes
Your application and messages stay on my own server in Europe. The only thing that may leave
the EU is the routine request your browser makes to the font providers above when it loads the
page.
6. How long I keep it
Applications: up to 6 months after the selection for that season, then
deleted, unless we're actually in touch.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
You can ask me to show you your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use,
give you a copy, and withdraw your consent at any time. Just email me at the address above.
You also have the right to complain to the Italian data protection authority, the
Garante per la
protezione dei dati personali.
8. Adults only
This is for people aged 18 and over. Please don't apply or sign up if you're under 18.
9. Changes
If this changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
